2 months and still dishwasher down

I placed a ticket with them on July 2nd about a leak was not aware from dishwasher. They put the ticket with a plumbing company in Chattanooga that called once and when I said the issue he said oh ok and never showed. I called them back and they called them and go nothing. They then had to open a new ticket to get a new plumber out. They determined it was the dishwasher. They called Sears........ Sears came out took a look ordered a part said see you in a couple weeks. Part arrives at the house and week later Sears comes back out part broken need a new one. I have called Residential MD now 6 times and still nothing. I asked to have a manager call Nothing. I have asked for a call back nothing. Today I call and they inform me that a part needs to be reordered for the dishwasher. I asked why that was not done 3 weeks ago and nothing. I have never had issues before this with them always call back all ways do as they say. I just simply want my dishwasher fixed or replaced how hard is it.

This company is horrible and hires contractors with no licenses. When I asked for the contractors plumbing license I was told that was rude and I could install the tankless hot water heater myself. When I called to warranty company they sided with the contractor. With every claim you get the total run around. That company will do anything not to pay any claim. Waste of money!

I’m waiting for tree days for a plumber my basement is a mess I’m calling my lawyer because they need to pay for the damages for waiting time tree *** days no service don’t take this company they are you have *** retarded peoples on the phone they never can contact a manager this not a company you can even complain to nobody they stupid and incompetent don’t waste your money paying for service because you never going to get it went you need.

Residential MD Gold Warrenty is a Sham!

The only Gold in The Residential MD Home Warranty is the money you pay to this "Pretend" warranty service. We paid $59.

a month for 4 years. No matter the issue, electrical, plumbing, a/c, etc., Costs are NEVER covered.

Example; Electrical outlets, A/C part, leaking bathroom pipe, faulty security lights, refrigerator, spa, nothing attached to the house outside, roof, you get the idea. That's after you pay $85 for the service person to come out.

There is always some excuse as to why the claim is denied.

I started asking the repairmen, and they say the company ALWAYS denies the claims. Don't waste your money on this company, they will not honor any claim.

I had a plugged sewer line and everything was backing up in my 3 bathroom. You'll claimed a plumber couldn't come out that day. You all false to tell me I could get someone to unplug the line. You claimed you were trying to find someone. Well, finally someone told I get someone other than a plumber who was license to unplug the line 3 days later. Almost 3 months later I have yet to receive my refund. They false to tell me the procedure for getting this refund. Please don't deal with this company. I can't wait for contract to end, I can get a real warranty company.

Lousy Dishwasher Service

I have had the Residential Gold service repairman out to my house 5 times regarding my dishwasher. The Sears repairman has replaced just about everything there is to replace and still my dishwasher is not working. The series of events started with water pooling in the bottom of the dishwasher and then last Tuesday I had my second control panel installed. I used my dishwasher on Thursday and it worked, I then tried using it today and the whole external panel lite up and all the buttons were flashing with the display flashing “ER”….I have had this service for 5 years and until Sears got involved I had received good service…what does that tell you. I have placed another request with Residential and I have specifically asked for them not to send a Sears repairman.

Faucet *** is "abused"

We opened a claim with Residential Md for a broken faucet *** along with a few other plumbing related issues. Technician came and told us what part to purchase instead of replacing the part. We can't find the replacement part because the part has been discontinued by the manufacturer. We called Residential Md several times and finally after almost a month the technician filed a report that the part is broken due to abusive use and it's not covered under warranty. What a joke! I have cancelled my service and strongly recommend people to do some research before signing up with Residential Md.

Denied claim based on assumption not fact

I made a claim for AC repair. The company sent someone out to take pictures. He was two hours late and inspected the AC unit outside in the dark. He sent in a report indicating that my weights located about 10 feet from the unit may have caused damage to the facade of the unit. Never mind that the problem is with the coolant line leading from the unit to the house located on the opposite side of the unit. I have been paying premiums to this company for more than 5 years and have never made a claim. Now I have a problem and my claim is denied. The unit is old (Meridian) and the company no longer in business. There are no parts to fit so the only other option would have been to replace. I promptly canceled my subscription to this company and will not sign up for another. If I had saved the money paid in premiums every month by now I would have saved up the money to purchase a new unit. Live and learn. I have thrown away approximately $2700. Not to happen again!

Residential MD refused to repair my A/C unit due to leaking coils. They tried to blame every company regarding the problem, even the ones they sent out. They refused to replace or repair the coils even though they were installed last year by a company they sent . After calling for 1 1/2 months, I was able to get them to send out a company which diagnosed the bent coils which needed to be replaced. After finally getting in touch with Residential MD, because I had to keep calling them back, after being told I would get a call back about the solution, they told me the service wouldn't be covered because of improper installation. I asked several times to speak to a supervisor, but was given several excuses of why I couldn't speak to one. They told me that the A/C coils were installed improperly. The coils were installed 1 1/2 years ago by Crump Air Conditioning; a company they had to install it. I experienced very long hold times throughout every phone call, which was approximately 12 times in 1 month about this one issue of a leaking AC which is still not resolved!!!! The final conversation with the company was unsuccessful, I was made to find someone to repair my AC, and was told that I would get reimbursed. I didn't get reimbursed for the $240 I spent for the service, I was told it was maintenance.. Needless to say the problem wasn't fixed! I contacted the company which after a very lengthy conversation, with several people agreed to send out another company (Total Air Care.) They diagnosed the problem as damaged coils which should have been covered as stated in the manual, but they refused the claim because they said they were put in wrong 1 1/2 yrs ago by their company. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!

Anything they don't want to replace, they can simply and easily say it was due to the owner's lack of maintenance. I even showed them that I DID do maintenance and they still wont replace it. They are one of the most expensive services out there too!! Complete scam artists. They wont even have a agent call you. Everything is through email and it takes them 4 - 6 weeks to respond. Its truly a joke!! Your better off saving your money and putting it aside for any incidentals and calling someone on your own. Its not like the warranty company is gonna do anything for you anyway.

They are the worst

Been paying them for pretty much two years and I am still waiting for them to fix or replace my washer dryer The service providers are no better and they take a long time to answer your calls and acts very unprofessional They came diagnosed the problem and took two months to call back and say they finally received the parts which must have had to be specially made in a far far away country and then shipped here. Then they send out technicians who never show up and their response is that they office is not open on the saturdYs they book the technicians so it cannot be helped. It took me a week to get a person on the phone to let them know the person didn't show. They try to give you an appointment a month later and ot goes on and on until a year has passed and you have gone beyond frustrated Now they want you to file another.Claim and pay another deductible-and have another provider. I am reporting them to the better business bureau Who waits for a year for this kind of *** service ?????????

A/c u it failed...they said it wasnt covered because dog urined on unit outside. I have no pets and a fence around unit!. Then they said i dont have corroaion protection.proved i did. Then they said lack of maintenence. It was maintainded ever year.. now they are telling me it wont be cover because acts of god. Ac went out on a friday afternoon. My unit wasnt even addressed after multipe calls. And 4 days! I still have not recieved the final anser as to why they wont repair the unit. The hvac technician said it failed because of a compessor failure!!! Nothing to do with ac coil. Unit was 15yrs old! Scammers!!!! Complete scam. Dont ever sign up!
